Mountaineering in Nepal
Nepal as a mountainous country owns many snow-capped lofty mountains.The higest peak in the world,Mt.Everest, attracts many tourists.Many people climb other mountains,too.Many neapli sherpas are employed in the feild of mountaineering.They scale the mountauns for two purpose: firstly to gain frme and secondly as the profession.Mountaineering has promoted in Nepal.Many foreign tourists visit Nepal to climb mountains.Especially, they want to scale Mt.Everest.It was first scaled by Tenzing and Hillary in 1953.Since then, it has been as adventure for the mountains climbers.Mountaineers do possess the spirit of adventure. They have to face with many problems and dangers while climbing mountains.It is an organized sport.There are many traning centers throught the world to train the mountaineers.They taught how to accomblish this heroic and perlious task safly.Because of lofty mountains, mountaineering has been bloomed and flourished in Nepal.
Poverty Alleviantion in Nepal
Nepal as a developing country has been struggling the existing poverty for ages.The main problem is to find food,cloth and shelter.People work from the morning to evening.Their income is very low.Generally, most of the poor people are igonrant.They are not adequately aware.In order to alleviant and eliminate poverty in Nepal, some measures have to be implemented.Education is the most important factor for the development of the society.The main cause of poverty in Nepal is the lack of appropriate education.Most of the uneducated poor people do not possess appropriate degree of awareness.They are victimized by superstition,social evils and evil tradition and cultures.Similarly, tradition agriculture system in rural region plays the role of the second causes of existing poverty in Nepal.
Child Labour In Nepal
Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world. The majority of the population are poor farmers and labourers. They have to work hard for their living. Their wives also have to work hard from morning to evening both inside and outside their houses. Its very sad that even their children are not an exception to such a practice. They are often employed in different factories and mills and made to work hard. The owners or the managers often exploit them by giving low and unreasonable salary. There age and sex are not considered. There working conditions are not good. They have to work in filthy and unhealthy atmosphere, without any rest. Because of poverty, their parents are compelled to deprive them of the opportunity of education and primary health care.
Importance of cottage industries in Nepal
Cottage Industries are carried on in houses or cottages.They are carried on a small scale by individuals in their houses. they have to invest a little amount of money. they have only one or two workers to help them. mostly works are accomplished with the help of their own family members.Pottery, carpentry, smithy, bee-keeping,spinning, basket-making, carpet-making, weaving,poultry-farming, fishpond are some examples of cottage industries. Many people in our country are involved in such activities. Nepal being poor country, the importance of cottage industries is great. Our country has not same much of industrialisation. There are only few factories. We are far from development. Our country lacks in communication and electricity. There are only few good roads. Most of the place are not linked to a road. They are removed and in accessible. In such a case, cootage industries exist under compulsion.
The Rivers in Nepal
A tiny mountainous country Nepal is rich in water resources. some of them are the rushing torrents , tranquil lakes , splashing rivers, unique springs and underground water resources . among them the rivers play the most important role in Nepal. most of them rise from big lakes or mountains. they flow through mountains , rocks and plains. the major rivers in Nepal are mechi, koshi, bagmati, narayani, gandaki, karnali, mahakali and others. the koshi in the eastern part of nepal is the largest, the narayani is the deepest and the karnali is the longest rivers in nepal. all these rise from mountains. these rivers are very clean but the sacred rivers bishnumati and bagmati in kathmandu have been highly polluted. the amount of the water in all the river's during dry season slightly decreases but in the rainy season , it gets increased. each big rivers has several tributaries.

People who travel inland and abroad for enjoyment,entertainment and sight-seing are tourists.Tourists visit countries seeing interesting places.Tourists from any country are free to visit our land. Many tourists come to Nepal every year. there are many interesting places and natural sights in our country . a good number of mountains, hills, snowcapped ,peaks, glacier, rivers , lakes , caves ,religious places , temple, green forests and animals enhance the beauty of our country . they attracts tourists. thousands of foreign tourists come to our country every year.they are useful for our country in many ways they are a source of income to the government and the people.they buy goods of their choice.they like to stay in a good and well - furnished hotels.they need guides to help to travel and work.some people earn a living as guides.

Now our country Nepal has been prastising democractic system.Many martyrs and freedom fighters sacrifised themself to introduce democracy in Nepal.Among them,Shukraraj Shastri is a great nation hero and matyr.Therefore,I appreciate him most.He was born in kathmandu in 1950 B.S.He spent most of his childhood days there.His father Madhav Raj Joshi and mother Ratna Maya took care of him nicely.
He studiedshaskrit language and got the degree of "shastri", the degree of gradution.After he completed his education, he worked as a teacher in Allahabad in India.He also wrote many books such as Satya Prakash,Sanskrit Pradeep, Satya Kalpana,etc.He was in contact with great Indian Scholar and refroms.He got great opportunities to meet Mahatma Gandhi in India.He had to go to India to Publish his books.He was influenced by the political movements in India.He knew that nepal was not a democratic country.
